If the clothes are not extremely dirty, there is no need to wash them at high temperatures. Washing at a temperature of 30° consumes 38% less energy than washing at a temperature of 40°. By washing sparingly, you save not only your finances, but also energy and the planet. In addition, your clothes will last longer because higher temperatures destroy textiles.
To keep your clothes looking like new for as long as possible:
- Do not use bleach or other chemical cleaners
- The washing temperature on the label of each product is the highest temperature allowed
- Wash with similar colors
- Do not tumble dry
